Information Sessions

The information seminars will address the current barriers that small and home based businesses face when trying to establish themselves online; in particular lack of computer skills, lack of knowledge about the benefits of being online and the costs involved with establishing a website. On display will be results that have been achieved in the pilot programs, as well as a live demonstration showing the process used in the workshops to create a website. Training Program

Each business will receive 9 hours training, split into 3 x 3 hour workshops. The workshops will be facilitated by a professional Website Developer and a professional Graphic Designer and held in regional and remote areas of Western Victoria. As part of the support package, we will register your domain, arrange website and email hosting and provide post workshop follow up support. Your website will be 100% yours, and there will be no software to purchase. The website you create will be fully content managed, meaning you will be able to update it from home/work once it has been published to the web (we will do this for you). Oh yeah, and we have a rule.. NO I.T JARGON!

The training has been structured to facilitate all levels of computer knowledge and to allow participants to work at their own pace. At the conclusion of the third workshop your website will be published to the web where you will be able to add and update content yourself from any computer with an internet connection.
